Cool Beach Hotel - Hikkaduwa

The beach view from my room was fine, and I appreciated the terrace for relaxation. The breakfast options were limited and the portions felt small. I faced some delays during meal service. It's a good choice for a beach getaway, but the dining experience could use improvement.

Nice place for exploring Hikkaduwa. The best part of our comfortable stay was the very good breakfast. It was nice to have balcony.

great view but some room for improvement

The top floor room offered an excellent sea view. The beachside garden was a tranquil oasis with comfy hanging chairs to relax in. Mr Greshan and Mr Mahinda provided really good service and genuine kindness . The sea view added an extra charm to the experience, a highlight of my time here.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right on the beach with a amazing view from our room's large balcony. The hotel facilities were great, with a beautiful private beach where we could fully relax and enjoy tranquility. The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast served on the beach was delicious, and we loved the fact that the hotel was away from the buzz of the city, nestled in the lap of nature. there was a local restaurant on the other side of the street which we discovered and enjoyed.

Not obvious to find.

The private beach was incredible, offering a beautiful and secluded spot to relax and enjoy the sun. the staff was also very helpful in assisting us in finding transportation, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. the location of the hotel was ideal, situated between two popular destinations, providing easy access to both.

The property itself was not fully finished, with issues such as bare wires for the lights and fans which posed safety concerns. there was no cold water in the rooms, making it difficult to take a refreshing shower after a day in the sun.

The location was amazing, with a fine sea view from the large balcony. Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast right on the beach, magical. The service provided by the staff was excellent - they were always friendly, communicative, and were really good too ensure my comfort. the owner and the entire staff couldn't do enough for me, making my stay superb. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful beach getaway.

The internet was not available in the rooms, which would have been more convenient.

clean and cozy rooms with an ocean view balcony - rare fridge in Sri Lanka, and easy access to a quiet beach. staff - especially cleaning/kitchen manager Rita - were helpful and friendly. Local buses and motorbike rentals available to explore restaurants - shops, and services in nearby areas.

Couldn't recommend more.

our honeymoon trip to hikkaduwa was wonderful. cool beach surpassed our expectations with its incredible location on the beach, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. the private beach and delicious food made our stay even more memorable. the owner, grisha, made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We loved the stunning sandy beach, great for party people like us. the large rooms with balconies offered breathtaking ocean views. the staff was friendly and attentive, and the owner made us feel like family. Easy access to transportation and the hotel even arranged affordable tuk-tuks.

Felt cozy, no complaints whatsoever.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is superb, offering privacy and relaxation on a stunning sandy beach. The large rooms with ocean views and big balconies are jaw-dropping. The staff, including the manager and owners, are super friendly and attentive to every need. The easy access to transportation and nearby attractions is a major plus. The free Wi-Fi and beautiful beach access are just the cherry on top. Definitely a must-visit place!
